Rumor: Shanda Developing "Rich Microblog" Product

Chinese online media provider and online game developer and operator Shanda Interactive (Nasdaq: SNDA) has reportedly developed a new "rich microblogging" product, Tuita.com, currently undergoing internal testing by Shanda employees.

An industry source said that "rich microblogging" referred to support for publishing more varieties of multimedia and faster sharing than existing platforms.

Shanda declined to comment.
