Rumor: Baidu Online Literature PC Client Begins Closed Beta

According to an industry source, Chinese internet company Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) online literature PC client "Baidu Yuedu Qi" will begin closed beta testing at the end of September.

In screenshots circulating online, the client includes an online bookstore and a "My Bookshelf" section. In terms of content, the main types of books offered will include graphic novels, bestsellers, and instructional books. The client also features rankings, document management, and search tools.
