Sohu Microblog Suffers Service Outage

Sohu's (Nasdaq: SOHU) Sohu Microblog experienced a service interruption at approximately 9:30 am on February 10, 2011, resuming normal operations half an hour later. Sohu has issued no official remarks concerning the incident.

Earlier this year, on January 23, Sohu chairman and CEO Charles Zhang revealed that a series of celebrity-endorsed promotional activities had helped Sohu Microblog to triple its user base in under 3 months, though he stopped short of giving precise figures.
